Airbag Party and Backcountry Tech Night

Go beyond the basics and learn about other safety gear for backcountry travelers.
Join us at Alibi Ale Works – Truckee Public House where you can learn about all sorts of other fun toys then blow off an airbag pack.
Come early to get a good seat, find your friends or make new friends and get something to eat. Formal presentation will start at 6:30 pm.
Learn about Garmin GPS systems and the new Inreach Satellite Communicators to see how they work and how they might save your life in an emergency backcountry scenario. Then we’ll dive into airbag packs and go into all the tech features. Find out about Dynafit Hoji boots and the newest bindings. There will even be an introduction to Skimo. We’ll end the night with a huge airbag group deployment followed by free canister refills and free software upgrades.
Bring some cash to buy some raffle tickets and support Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue Team Inc! We’ll have sweet prizes from ORTOVOX, Flylow Gear, Scott Sports, Mammut, Garmin, Julbo Eyewear and Spark R&D.
