*Open Snow Winter Forecast & Insider Tips for Chasing Pow*
Let’s talk weather! We’ll look at the forecasts for this winter (and if we should trust them), how certain weather patterns and wind directions bring more (or less) snow to certain mountains, and discuss where to find the deepest snow around the globe.

Plus, Joel will (try to) answer all of your weather-related questions and also give you tips to use the redesigned version of OpenSnow’s website and mobile apps.

*Dream Job Film*
https://colleengentemann.ca/dreamjobfilm

A comedy documentary about a girl working in the ski industry who decides to become one of the stars, DREAM JOB begs the question – they go up, they go down, how hard can it be?

The film follows comedian Katie Burrell through “days in the life” with three of the industry’s biggest names: Leah Evans, founder of Girls Do Ski, Christina Lustenberger, ex-Olympian and big mountain skier, and Diny Harrison, the first fully certified female guide in North America. Needless to say, she finds out how hard it really can be.

Whether hitting jokes or playing well-managed physical comedy, Katie can offer direction in storytelling, beats and characters. A stand-up comedian and filmmaker, Katie has one filter: satire.

*The Friends of CAIC*

The Friends of CAIC was created to support the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC), while contributing to avalanche awareness and education throughout the state of Colorado. The relationship between the CAIC and the Friends of CAIC is an important public-private partnership.

The partnership allows Friends of CAIC to provide the resources needed to create and maintain a robust program of avalanche forecasting and education. Additionally, it keeps the CAIC staff in the snow so they can provide the best avalanche forecasts possible for you, the user. Friends of CAIC accomplishes their mission through fundraising opportunities including: grant writing, events, individual fundraising, and corporate partnerships.

As the mountains of Colorado get busier, the CAIC is in a position to continue to deliver quality avalanche forecasting and education program that is accessible to everyone in Colorado. With your support we can continue to grow and support that program.
