No Man’s Land Film Festival : Carbondale, CO

We are so excited to announce that September 13th – 16th in Carbondale, CO will mark our fourth annual Flagship Festival!

Carbondale is where we were born and bred and it only seems fitting to kick off each tour season with the original No Man’s Land family. Each year you can find us and taking over downtown Carbondale from music venues and town parks, to art galleries and historic theatres. This event is bigger and bolder than our abbreviated screenings on the road. This is where we gather the hearts, bodies and minds that make No Man’s Land, No Man’s Land.

At our Flagship Festival, we have a lot that we want to do. Which is precisely why we are always mixing up the events associated with our event. Maybe it’s fomo, maybe its creative genius – who’s to say? We host activist workshops, panel discussions on being a female athlete, presentations on the history of feminism and these are only to name a few. We bring in guests who are experts in their fields, whether that be skiing huge lines in British Columbia or scholars in feminism and women’s studies. We choose guest speakers who live the NMLFF mission and are committed to bringing it to action. During the day we have climbing, biking, running, packrafting and yoga outings. We are always looking to engage our audience in ways that they wouldn’t usually experience.

We’ve got adventure meetups in all disciplines, presentations, panels, and workshops from world-class female athletes, activists, and adventurers, and four film programs that we are instrumental in un-defining feminine in adventure and sport. This year’s feature-length films will make your palms sweat, speak to cultural differences around the globe, and inspire your next adventure.
