The Teton County Search and Rescue Foundation, in partnership with The Bridger Teton Avalanche Center, is presenting the Sixth Annual Wyoming Snow and Avalanche Workshop on October 23rd and 24th. WYSAW 2020 will be a virtual event. The webinar will be two half-days, Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, and consist of a mix of pre-recorded talks, live presentations, and panel discussions. Q & A sessions will be a feature of any live offering.
WYSAW will showcase a selection of presenters and panelists that will offer industry-leading perspectives on decision making, risk management, and snow science. Backcountry use has been growing in the wake of the pandemic, at WYSAW general users and professionals alike can engage with and learn from experts in the avalanche industry to prepare for the upcoming winter.
The Sixth Annual WYSAW includes a special online vendor fair featuring numerous companies showcasing top products for backcountry users. Videos from each vendor will appear here the week leading up to the event.
They also giving away thousands of dollars worth of gear and equipment to keep you safe and ready this winter. A full list of products will be available here the week before the event, and you’ll be able to buy raffle tickets online. All raffle purchases go to TCSAR and directly help the team continues to save lives in the Jackson Hole backcountry.
