Shannon is a consummate adventurer. She spends her winter months as a professional ski patroller, ski guide, snow safety training officer and avalanche educator. She learned to ski at a young age with her siblings in Utah. She loves the ski lifestyle because it allows her to work outside, help people, and solve unique problems everyday.
Shannon spends her summer months working on the river as a whitewater kayak guide and instructor. Her skills as a teacher are unrivaled. Her genuine love for mountains and rivers radiates from her and touches all aspects of the courses she teaches.
